(I figure if you can use the American "Awesome," I can use the British "Brilliant." ;-) ) I've been feeling guilty about being insufficiently productive as well. For a different set of reasons, but the point is: Life happens. We're supposed to think we can work all the time: nobody ever needs to go to the doctor, the car will take care of itself, and companies never misbill and need to be cajoled into compliance by outsmarting an army of telephone robots to gain access to a human with the awe-inspiring power to disconnect your call..... But Life doesn't work that way. So while I'm sorry to hear you had a rough week, thanks for the reminder that Life happens to other people too. :-)

Sounds like Lynn's got parental guilt all figured out. I think parents should earn PhD's in general. To me, raising a human seems like it would require a superhuman. I raised a cat once - or she raised me. I think next time I'll try a cactus.

Hope Mr. Toddler feels better soon. And congratulations to you all on making it through another leg of the Life-athon. [Ew that sounded like a Hallmark card what is happening to me I better wash my mouth out with whisky or at least He-Brew... ]Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
