No!

I'm busy.  It's great.  I get to hang out with adults again.  Sometimes, I think I over exaggerate the trials that my boys inflict on Lynn and I, and sometimes, I look at old videos which I'm saving for my boys embarrassment.  I've replaced the video on this one, but the sound tells the story well enough.  Janey Godley is a wonderful friend; she's a comedienne, writer, podcaster and scary lady you can sometimes see on LA's public transport system...

  1. Mr. Toddler seems to have a strong independent streak - I like that! He's poised to either change the world or become an artist. ;-)

Curious if you ever try to trip him up with double negatives? "Excuse me, Mr. Toddler, would you like to not take a bath this evening?"

  2. Lol! The nuances of the double negative are lost to a point. If caught in a run of 'No!' and then you ask him, 'Can you only say No?' He responds by quietly shaking his head! At least that usually makes him see the funny side and laugh.

  3. Ah, yes. Toddlers make for great birth control, eh?

Thank you for letting me laugh at a stage I've been through multiple times. The rumors are true: it's waaaay funnier when it's happening to someone else! *giggle*chuckle*snort*guffaw
